Morning run. 18+ intervals of 5/2
Sunday, October 14th, 2007I ran a long run this morning, running five minutes and walking two. My original plan was to do 20 reps, but I didn’t finish the 19th run and didn’t start the 20th at all. By one minute thirty into the 20th, I was back home. I ran up to Desau and down to Howard and out to 35 and back. I turned two minutes into run number ten. I am going to check milage, but I took the batteries out of my mouse to put into a Schroeder toy so I can’t do it quite yet.
Edit: Google Maps measures my out and back was 5.76 per half or 11.52 total or a pace of a smidge under 12min/mile (counding 135 minutes as my time). I did end up walking my cool down through the entire 20 reps, but I couldn’t run anymore. I didn’t eat anything pre run and just took water with me. I believe I may be running into required nutrition management land.
