Faster 4

Tuesday, August 28th, 2007

This morning I got a late start but ran anyway. That is a big hump for me in that I have been saying ‘oh, it is too late to begin my run, I will just sleep another X minutes’ rather than going ahead and getting done what I should. I finished in less than 41:30, the fastest 4 miles this iteration.

Another 4

So I thought the weather was much warmer than it actually is. I was assuming that it was hot and humid but it isn’t nearly as bad as I was assuming:

My four mile run began at just after 6:00 and I finished in just under 42 minutes (like 3 seconds under). The course is an out and back with gentle hills. I am sure I could find a more interesting run, but I like the functionality of this one. Run Railroad until it turns into Mamoth Cave until it ends and then run home.

I hope to get in a 17 mile week this week, with my Saturday run being the first 5 mile run of this incarnation of my exercise routine.

4 miles this morning

I got in a morning run and it was great. I didn’t start until 6:45, so I was late getting started, but I was able to complete my 2 mile out and back with minimal pain. I ran my first mile in a little over 9 and the total was a bit under 42. I still need to work on my initial pacing, but overall, it will do.
