Test D: 740 first and then 944

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

I got a 740 on Test D and then a 944 after review. I feel really stupid to have missed the three that I did. I should have gotten my first 1000, but it didn’t happen. I hope to get in the 900s on my first take of Test E. I believe I am learning the concepts rather than simply memorizing the questions, but the proof is in the testing.

Test C - 962

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Best full test yet. I reviewed early this morning and just finished taking the test as Schroeder naps. I only partially missed two questions and only one was due to a conceptual gap in my learning. Now on to Test D. I believe I can make it to 90% on all of the exams by Monday. If I can, I will take my exam Monday or Tuesday (depending on when I can get it scheduled).

Test C 466 611

Schroeder has been home for the most of the week and I have been skimping on my studying. In fact, Schroeder was sitting with me as I completed Test C and so I didn’t complete my review of my missed questions. My fault, not the prep tool. I am enjoying the way the different tests introduce new material gradually while testing the previous material with new questions. This is the type of learning that I excell at, and I believe the coverage is of sufficient depth and breadth to prepare me to pass the exam.

Tonight I will review all of my missed questions (I like the test history feature) and take Test C again. My plan it to take the exam early next week since I haven’t kept up the study pace I wanted.

EDIT: I was telling the tale of my last test a little on the scary side. I started my studying for the day and noticed that I had gotten a 611 rather than a 466. Not nearly as bad, but still significantly off from earlier.

Test B with 6 misses = 888

Short study tonight, a single review test. Schroeder (son, 2 years old) was up ill last night and missed school today. Studying took a hit, but should bounce back shortly. Good feeling after the increase even after a day away. Pushing through the exams and reviews.
