Some times, presentation is everything. So I wanted to do a comparison of some files and was looking for something cool to get a hash for them and stumbled accross Hash Tab which is a shell extension that puts hashes on a tab in the properties of a file. Neat isn’t it?

I have been reading the blog of the Microsoft Advanced Windows Debugging and Troubleshooting team for some time (trying to look smart at least) and have enjoyed the little bit that I could understand. I just never really saw it as something that I could do myself. Until now. The latest post is (the) Basics of Debugging Windows and covers the tools you need and where to get them. I am almost looking forward to the aweful crash that will let me try out some of these things.
