Mark Russinovich has published an article on TechNet Magazine that covers the changes to the Vista Kernel from XP. He discusses many interesting changes, it is definitely worth a read:

Coding in the New Year

Monday, January 1st, 2007

I have been coding, just not blogging about it as I should. I have been trying to get some work done with/for the SharpOS project. I am currently implementing a library to read/write fat12 from a floppy and a build harness/UI to make it dead simple ot build and run. Work has me re-building some of the infrastructure and experimenting with the rules engine some more. While this year has been better than last year, I need to do more public coding and more documentation this year. I enjoy the coding, and could get jobs like the one that I have without making any changes. However, I am not content. I need to do more. I must not only study and gain more knowledge, I need to document the knowledge gain and share it. I need to gain more depth. I still think that the Reporting Services community has places that I can contribute in a meaningful way. That is my goal.
